Traces was created from Adi’s curiosity around mental health. Having been surrounded by mental illness via her mother from birth it’s something she’s been passionate to showcase and explore in film. Media Worx like to add a twist to every day situations in their stories and this was the perfect way to do that. Adding a supernatural horror element to the story allowed the audience to ask questions around spirituality, society and mental health. Released in 2024, The film has gone on to win numerous awards around the world and is being considered for feature film development.
